Hello world and welcome to my page! I’m Lisa, and I live in Miami, FL. This spring, I completed the Learning Design & Technology graduate certificate at HES. I am taking this course (DGMD S-1) in pursuit of the ALM in Digital Media Design. I earned my undergraduate degree in theatre and spent several years as a lighting technician and stagehand. I've always been fascinated by the impact of live dramatic performance on the emotional experience of the audience. I spent just a little over a decade teaching high school English and drama before I discovered the field of instructional design. Now I am interested in exploring how we might create better learning experiences for a broad range of students. In this course, I look forward to developing new skills and learning alongside all of you.
